Thank You Leeshie

While Jeff was off conquering the mountain Leeshie (Alicia) came and kept me and Davis company. The week would have been long and sad without her!

Mountain Man

Last week Jeff went off to Colorado to climb the Rio Grande Pyramid. We are happy to report that he made it back safe and sound!

All Buckled Up

Davis all buckled up for his first bike ride!

Happy 98th Birthday Aunt Zelma

9 months

Davis had his 9 month doctors appointment on Friday. He was 18 lbs! HA! We've moved up to the 15th percentile for weight.

He's crawling everywhere and quickly. It amazes me how he can hone in on the things he shouldn't play with - light sockets, cat food, the computer.

His smile is so sweet and there is nothing better than his belly laugh.

Peri and Davis

For Daddy

I took this picture for Jeff on Sunday when he was in Colorado climbing a mountain (that's a story for another post). I thought Davis looked so cute and grown up.

One Day?

99% of the time Davis has no interest in holding his own bottle but this picture gives me hope!

Kids today.  Doesn't it seem like they grow up too fast?

Playing Catch Up

Sorry for the delay in posting.  We were in Longview for a week and then the computer was getting fixed, we got a new camera and were working on a home improvement project!  Here are a barrage of photos from the past few weeks.

Davis eating beans off the end of a knife!

Davis building up his immune system and chewing on the edge of the table.

Riding a train with Cousin Kathryn

Grr. Sideways photo. Swimming at Mammou's house.

A few weeks ago we pulled up the carpet in our living room and Jeff spent the next few days cleaning, prepping and staining the concrete.  It looks great. I haven't taken any 'after' pics but I'll post some soon.  The next two pictures show the mess we made while working on the project!

The couch in the hallway - meaning we had to climb over it every time we walked down the hall.

Most of the other living room furniture pushed in the dinning room/kitchen.  It was a mess but totally worth it.

Davis in swim class this morning.

Davis is crawling and pulling up on things now which is amazing.  Earlier this week he was standing using his chair as a handrail and eventually he just leaned over and pulled himself on top of the chair.  We thought it was pretty funny because he got wedged in the chair and couldn't move.  Silly boy.
